Admissions Procedure

For the 2020-2021 School Year

Applications are still being considered for students in grades 9, 10, & 11 in 2020-2021.   Note that the school does not usually accept transfers into the senior year, except in cases of an out-of-town transfer student from another Catholic high school.

a.  Families should complete our  Online Application 

b.  Submit copies of current report cards and those from the previous school year (from 8th grade through the current year).

c.  Submit two letters of recommendation from the student's previous school.

Once the information is received, SJPII will contact the family to determine what additional information is needed to make admissions decisions.

All students seeking enrollment at this time for the 2020-2021 school year will be interviewed. This interview can be completed as part of the campus tour. Families are encouraged to schedule a tour by calling the front office at 830-643-0802 or emailing admissions@johnpaul2chs.org

For the 2021-2022 School Year

Families should follow the same procedure as above but should follow the normal procedure for the two recommendation forms (give the forms to two current teachers, along with an addressed, stamped envelope to mail the forms directly to SJPIICHS).
