In San Antonio, religious orders set the foundations of the vast majority of Catholic schools. The Marianists, the Holy Cross Brothers, the Ursulines, the Brigidines, the Sisters of the Incarnate Word, the Congregation of Divine Providence, the Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and others orders came into our parishes and communities and put in the work, dedication, and sacrifice to shepherd our Catholic schools through their infancies. Our Church has received many gifts from religious, but this is one of the most enduring and treasured: the gift of Catholic schools.
St. John Paul II Catholic High School is now looking for those 'pioneer' teachers, who like those religious before us, are willing to sacrifice, work, and push to found a great Catholic high school in Schertz. The needs are great in these founding years for dedicated persons to work with our students, to establish the vision for the myriad programs within our school, and to see the planning through to reality.
